So Cool — April 2021 Paper Pumpkin

I have really been enjoying the spring days we have been having this week which means summer is just around the corner and April’s Paper Pumpkin is reminiscent of some of my favorite childhood summer memories, Watermelon and popsicles. This kit was designed using some of kids favorite summer treats to create a kit that is perfect to use to craft with the special youngster in your life.

  • The So Cool Paper Pumpkin Kit is a little taste of summer fun, with enough supplies to make 12 colorful, shaped cards with coordinating envelopes. Six card bases are popsicle shaped, the other six are semicircles: three watermelons and three rainbows. All of the cards are splashed with cheerful, vivid watercolor images. The kit also includes two full-size, matching sticker sheets, die-cut accents, fun embellishments, and more.
  • Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile
  • Even though the So Cool Kit was designed with kids in mind, these fun-shaped cards, featuring vivid watercolors, are versatile enough to gift to kids of all ages—the young in years and the young at heart. They’re a great way to send some “sunshine in a card!” Who wouldn’t love that?
  • The kit’s exclusive So Cool Stamp Set is versatile, offering sentiments that can be used for multiple occasions such as birthdays, congrats, cheer, and more! It’s a great addition to any crafter’s collection.

Keep the creative fun going by pairing the So Cool Kit with the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (154567) featured in our 2021 January–June Mini Catalog. It’s a great way to use the kit’s stamps, ink, stickers, and more to further indulge your craving for summer fun. Plus, the paper is part of the matching Ice Cream Corner Suite, so there’s virtually no end to the possibilities!

Just remember you have to subscribe to receive the kit by April 10th. Subscribe Here. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I really do love my Paper Pumpkin Kit each month. I can’t wait to get this kit and see all the fun inside.

November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

One of the great things about the paper pumpkin kits is you can use them for alternate projects. The November Paper Pumpkin was designed to make 15 gift card holders with coordinating envelopes. I didn’t need that many gift card holders so I saved the supplies till I needed them for another project. I needed gift tags for the goodies bags my kids put together for their friends. With Covid we needed to do porch deliveries and wanted to make sure they knew who the bags were for and from.

The paper pumpkin supplies made it very simple and quick for me to put together 12 tags in no time. I took each of the intended gift card holders and cut the front and back apart and cut the flap off so I had two ginger bread house pieces. I then stamped the white pieces using the stamps included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit with the Blushing Bride Stampin Spot included in the kit. The greeting was also included in the kit and stamped on the tags also included in the kit. I decided to use the coordinating ink pads Mink Macaroon and Shaded Spruce to stamp the greeting based on the color of the door. The back of the tag is just the back of the gingerbread house. I again used stamps included in the Paper Pumpkin kit. I coordinated the back with colors from the front one set used Calypso Coral and the other again used Shaded Spruce. I tried to make one set that fit my son slightly more for him to use for his friends and one set that fit my daughter and her friends a little better. My son decided to add a couple of the candy disk embellishments also included in the kit while my daughter decided she liked her tags with just the stamps. I love how individual you can make things even when they are from a kit. We also used a small star punch (retired) to punch the tags. The snowflake punch from the Every Season Punch Pack (currently on clearance) would work great as well.

I would love to see your paper pumpkin projects. Remember that anyone that orders a Paper Pumpkin Kit is automatically a member of my Paper Pumpkin Club and will receive special gifts and promotions from me throughout the year.
